Describe what the application does
Explain who uses it, what they should be able to do, and whether it is a prototype or already in use. Mention the tools you used, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Lovable, if that context is useful. Using AI is not itself a defect.
Include important behavior in plain language: “Each customer should see only their own bookings,” or “A payment should create one order even if someone clicks twice.”
Choose a useful starting scope
A focused question often leads to a clearer assessment than “check everything.” You might choose sign-in, a payment integration, a data import, or a feature that feels difficult to change. For a small MVP, you can ask for an architectural overview and closer inspection of important user flows.
If you cannot identify those areas, choose “Help me choose” in the request form. I’ll briefly assess the project and propose a scope. An estimate is free; the assessment described in the accepted quote is paid.
Share code through an agreed method
Provide the GitHub repository link. For private work, check the invitation instructions in the request form and share only code you’re authorized to share. If GitHub is unsuitable, select “Arrange another secure method by email.” We will agree how to provide access before the quote is prepared.
Never put passwords, repository access tokens, API keys, or sensitive production data into the form. Use sanitized example data and configuration placeholders. The inquiry form does not upload or execute code.
Include setup and known concerns
A short README, setup instructions, relevant test commands, and known failure cases help establish what can realistically be investigated. Mention third-party integrations or environment constraints. Do not send live credentials as part of an inquiry.
The calculator counts reviewable application source only. Exclude dependencies, generated files, minified code, build output, and package lockfiles. Its hours describe estimated effort rather than delivery time, and its price is nonbinding.
Check the quote before accepting
Your quote should identify the areas and depth of inspection, the fixed price, delivery timing, and deliverables. Confirm whether documentation, test execution, implementing fixes, or retesting are included. You can accept or decline by email.
An AI-generated code review provides human judgment and recommendations within a defined scope. It cannot certify an application as secure or replace a comprehensive security audit or penetration test when those are needed.
Discuss your own project
The estimate is free. I confirm the review scope, fixed price, deliverables, and timing before you decide whether to proceed.
